Mermaid in the Creek!

We’ve had a car in the creek and rumours of bunyips – now we bring you (albeit grainy) photographic proof of a Mermaid in the Creek.  This occurred on Saturday 26th October in the evening after the Bird Count in the pond near the Laurel Grove bridge – sadly after our official photographers had retired for the day.  We promise this image has not been photoshopped!

Unhappily, mermaids can be associated with dangerous events such as floods, storms and shipwrecks.  Conversely, they can be benevolent, perhaps falling in love with humans in other folk traditions.  Either way – please watch out!
