Working Bee – Sunday, 16th June 2013

Our second community Working Bee for the year was conducted on Sunday, 16th June 2013.  Several welcome regulars from the community and committee members collaborated to further rehabilitate one of the more interesting parts of the park on a beautiful sunny winter’s morning.

It was lovely to work together to weed and plant out a quiet area of the park in the dappled sunny light of a windless morning.  Our enjoyment from our work was only exceeded by the bonhomie of morning tea featuring neighbour Natalie’s rock cakes.

Location:  Furness Park close to the Gardenia Street entrance – in the “woodlands”.
