Committee and friends cleaned up the woody weeds at the western end of the land adjacent to 60 Main Street in the northeast corner of Kalang Park as our contribution to Clean Up Australia Day. This consisted of removal of blackberries, honeysuckle, ivy, sweet pittosporum, mirror bush and other weed species in preparation for planting out appropriate species later this autumn. This segment of the park had become completely overgrown with weeds.
